📱Texting Medicaid patients will be the law in 2026!

The recently passed “Big Beautiful Budget Bill” just opened the door for Medicaid managed care plans to use text messaging to communicate with patients. As reported by [Fierce Healthcare](https://www.linkedin.com/company/fierce-healthcare/), these plans must inform Medicaid enrollees via mail, email, and one additional method, like SMS.
